2.4 Data Controller

Small files placed on a user's device that collect certain information when interacting with the HungerBox platform.

Customers may opt out of the HungerBox platform by unsubscribing from the platform.

HungerBox is not responsible for the authenticity of Personal Data provided by Customers.

HungerBox reserves the right to modify this Privacy Notice periodically due to changes in applicable laws, standards, technologies, or business requirements.

7. Sharing of Personal Data

HungerBox does not share Personal Data with any person unless the Customer has provided specific consent.

Personal Data may be disclosed:

• Where required by applicable law
• Upon request from regulatory or governmental authorities
• To comply with legal processes
• To respond to legal claims
• As part of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of business assets

8. Affiliates

HungerBox may share Personal Data with its affiliates or related companies for legitimate business purposes.

There is a direct contractual relationship between HungerBox and its vendors. Clients shall not be party to any commercial disputes arising between HungerBox and vendors.

HungerBox undertakes to comply with reasonable security practices and procedures as required under applicable laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Security measures implemented by HungerBox include:

9.1 Secure Operating Environment

Data collected during registration is used solely for operational and transactional purposes and is not used for commercial or promotional purposes.

HungerBox ensures that payment gateway providers comply with PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) requirements.

Customers are required to verify their identity through login credentials before accessing or modifying their accounts.

HungerBox retains Personal Data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, resolve issues, improve services, and comply with applicable legal obligations.

When Personal Data is no longer required, it shall be securely deleted or destroyed.

HungerBox respects and supports the rights of Data Subjects.

Customers may request information regarding Personal Data processed by HungerBox.

11.2 Right to Deletion

Customers may request deletion of Personal Data processed by HungerBox or users can revoke their access and remove their profile at any time through the "Delete My Profile" option available within the HungerBox Cafe application.

11.3 Right to Correction

Customers may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete Personal Data.

11.4 Right to Data Export

Customers may request extraction of Personal Data processed by HungerBox.

11.5 Right to Restrict Processing

Customers may request restrictions on the processing of their Personal Data.

11.6 Right to Object

Customers may object to the processing of their Personal Data.

11.7 Self-Service Profile Deletion

Users may independently delete their profile using the "Delete My Profile" option available within the HungerBox Cafe application. Requests submitted through this feature shall be processed in accordance with applicable legal and operational requirements.

12. Data Transfer

HungerBox shall not transfer Personal Data within India or outside India unless:

• Such transfer is necessary for the performance of a lawful contract between HungerBox and the Customer, or the Customer has consented to such transfer; and
• The recipient of such Personal Data has undertaken to provide protection in accordance with applicable laws.
